1. Data controller

The controller of the data collected via this site is Damien Aubail, in a personal capacity. Contact: contact form or LinkedIn.

2. Data collected

The site collects no data automatically. No cookie, no audience-measurement tool, no advertising or third-party tracker is used.

The only personal data that may be processed is what you voluntarily provide via the contact form:

• your name
• your email address
• the content of your message

None of this data is stored on this site: the form opens your email client pre-filled, and your message is sent directly by you to the recipient's email address.

3. Purpose and legal basis

The data submitted is used for the sole purpose of replying to your contact request and, where applicable, preparing a consulting engagement.

Legal basis: article 6.1.b of the GDPR(pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject) and, where applicable, article 6.1.f (the controller's legitimate interest in responding to a request received).

4. Recipients

The data submitted via the form is accessible only to Damien Aubail. No transfer to any commercial third party, partner or provider is made.

5. Transfer outside the European Union

The emails received are read via the Gmail service, provided by Google LLC, whose servers may be located in the United States. This transfer is framed by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, adopted by the European Commission on 10 July 2023 (adequacy decision 2023/1795), which ensures a level of protection considered adequate.

If you prefer not to have your message pass through this service, you can use LinkedIn as your contact channel.

6. Retention period

Emails received via the form are kept for as long as necessary to handle the request, then archived for a maximum of three years from the last contact, in line with the limitation period applicable to pre-contractual relations. After that, they are deleted.

7. Your rights

In accordance with articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR and articles 49 et seq. of the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights over your personal data:

• right of access: to know whether your data is processed and obtain a copy
• right of rectification: to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
• right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”): to request the deletion of your data
• right to restriction of processing
• right to object to processing
• right to data portability
• the right to set post-mortem directivesregarding your data (art. 85 of the French Data Protection Act)

To exercise one of these rights, contact Damien Aubail via the form specifying the subject of your request. A reply will be provided within a maximum of one month (art. 12.3 of the GDPR).

8. Complaint to the CNIL

If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), the French data protection authority:

9. Cookies

This site uses no cookies, no third-party audience-measurement tool (such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) and no advertising tracker. In accordance with article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, no consent banner is required.
